From the reviews

Scheduled a couple's massage while we were in town for vacation. I chose Cocoa Beach Wellness Center because the reviews were good, their website was easy to navigate, and it showed pricing. I had to call to schedule the couple's massage, but the process was a breeze!

I had the pleasure of receiving a 90-minute massage from Chuck Thissen at Cocoa Beach Wellness Center, and it was nothing short of transformative. Chuck has an intuitive and highly skilled approach—he didn’t just provide relaxation, he truly worked with my body in a therapeutic, intentional way.

Rhonda was amazing. She has many years of experience, a wealth of knowledge, and a true passion for helping others heal. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and completely at ease.

★★★★★ — Deborah, May 2026

I needed help to ease muscle pain. I found Chuck Thissen at Cocoa Beach Wellness Center. He looked at my posture and compared the alignment of my legs. He started with trigger point therapy holistically. He continued to work and finally felt my muscles relax. I highly recommend him and will definite go back regularly.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
