From the reviews
Georgenne is an absolutely fantastic massage therapist! She has been working with my wife and I for the last 4 years! I am very particular on who I would let work on me as I have many Injuries I have had to work through over the years. Georgenne helps make you feel comfortable.
I’ve had several massages with Georgenne over the past year, and I would definitely recommend her. I originally went to her for cupping, but have since been for traditional massage as well.
Georgenne has helped aleviate multiple issues I've had. As someone who works on a computer all day, she's alleviated tension headache pain and helped get out the tight knots in my upper shoulders. I have also had a pinched nerve in my neck causing pain down my arm.
Georgenne is amazing! She is very in tune to what I need during each massage. We have done a mixture of deep tissue massage and cupping techniques on certain days depending on how I was feeling. Georgenne is a wonderful, kind human as well. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
