Why Cloos Massage Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “I graduated from Blue Cliff College of Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2010 with honors. What clients say about the cupping here
“I immediately felt a great comfort with Heather, she made me feel at ease right away.”
From the reviews
I have to share my story. I have attempted twice to get a massage in my life. Both times I have left the message before or in the beginning of the massage. I decided to try one more time, my husband had been going to see Heather for a few years and raves about her abilities. Last week I went to see her.
Great massage by Heather. Very sweet. Great atmosphere. Loved it
She is awesome... If you go you won't be sorry that is for sure, and I'm picky... Went back today March 11. Totally awesome 👍
Heather will metal your body like butter sitting in the sun!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
