From the reviews
I have been going to Classic Acupuncture for 9 months (almost every week) and I have had a wonderful experience. I look forward to my session each week as a moment to relax, and I always come out feeling good.
I have been going to Ingrid for a number of years now. She is at all times professional and caring and has been the only one who has been able to provide relief for issues from rheumatoid arthritis. She is extremely skilled and I trust her implicitly. She has been a gift!
After going to two doctors (specialists in sports medicine) and another acupuncture place, in the end Ingrid at Classic Acupuncture was the one who was able to get rid of the pain I had in my knee. Insurance & Payment & Scheduling was always easy.
I highly recommend this clinic! My husband had flu like symptoms during Covid19 outbreak. Our Dr. didn't take him in (they only took emergency cases due to lack of tests) This sickness was unlike any he had before. We went to Classic Acupuncture & got some Chinese herbs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
