From the reviews

Michelle is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable AND compassionate, her treatments always leave me feeling incredible. I go home in less pain and with less anxiety, looking forward to the next time I get to see her. I highly recommend her to anyone who could use a little help to live their best life.

★★★★★ — Melinda, Sep 2021

Michelle is truly gifted! With a tool as thin as a human hair, she transforms me. The difference in the tone of my voice is remarkable! I have been treated for everything from frozen shoulder to fear and anxiety to too much happening in my head. Every time I go, I walk out a completely different person.

★★★★★ — Jeff, Oct 2024

My first time trying acupuncture and it was AMAZING! Michelle was great with asking what my specific problem was (carpal tunnel), asking for details so that she could pinpoint the exact problem area. Her technique and touch was so easy, many of the needles I didn't even feel.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Mar 2022

Michelle’s talent goes beyond her training. She’s a clinically gifted acupuncturist and she’s also got a sense for exactly what each human needs in the moment they’re in front of her. Whether I’m having physical, mental, or emotional discomfort (or a combo platter!), I walk out feeling refreshed and renewed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
