From the reviews
I suggest the Ciolo Creek Phyical Therapy clinic over any other Physical Therapy group I have had. I am a returning patient. I am a 67 year old man that is x- contractor, x-football player, x-sports coach, with several joint replacements and back issues. I have been through a lot of Therapy.
Everything is wonderful about this place. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to helping in any way possible. I had to stop going because I needed to see my pain management doctor, and some changes with my PCP delayed that appointment for some time.
The facility is clean, I am seen on time and the pt technician is friendly and proficient. I seem to be improving because of the care and treatment received. Only knock, causing this to be a 4 star review, is the A/C has been broken or not working on a couple of days, making the workouts a little uncomfortable.
There is NO PT experience like Cibolo Creek Physical Therapy. The personalized care and treatment is superb. The “family” environment they foster makes working towards better health enjoyable bordering on entertaining. An absolutely wonderful experience.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
