Why Chuntian Acupuncture Clinic is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ion/Moxa Moxibustion, or moxa, is a therapy that involves burning dried mugwort (moxa) near the skin to warm and stimulate specific acupuncture points, improving circulation and enhancing the flow of energy in the body. From the reviews

This is my first time experience with Acupuncture. Despite regular Physiotherapy and doctor visits, I was not recovering from hip/groin/back pain for more than 6 months post a car accident. So, my primary doctor recommended to try acupuncture.

I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture at first, but Dr. Chun completely changed my mind. I had been struggling with back pain and headache for quite some time, and traditional methods weren't providing lasting relief. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr.

I am truly grateful for the care I received at Chuntian Acupuncture Clinic. I had been suffering from persistent shoulder and neck pain, as well as occasional discomfort in my chest, which made daily life uncomfortable.

★★★★★ — Tina, Feb 2025

I experienced some sports injuries last year, and Master Chun helped a lot for plain relief and recovery. For example, my PCL got torn and I couldn’t even walk at first. But after about six treatments in two weeks, I could resume rock climbing. How amazing I could recover in such a short time!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
