From the reviews

I was referred to Chuck after an intense martial arts session that had me unable to turn my head without excruciating pain. Chuck listened to my concerns and together we developed a plan to get my neck mobile again. Chuck takes his time on the table and makes sure that he targets the muscles in need.

★★★★★ — Sabin, May 2020

Chuck is a professional expert in the area of anatomy and health. His great experience in physical therapy combined with his excellent private practice of muscle therapy gives us the opportunity to have an effective solution to pain and physical improvement.

★★★★★ — Luisa, Feb 2020

Chuck is by far the best massage therapist I have ever been to. Because he also works as a physical therapist, he knows a lot of tricks for unlocking tight hips & realignment of your body. He can recommend stretches & exercises that really help. Chuck is personable & his work space is very relaxing & clean.

★★★★★ — Jennifer, May 2020

Have been a client of Chuck’s for many years. Chuck's PT experience has been extremely helpful with all of my muscular skeletal problem. He spends the time taking a history and addresses what he can do with massage as well as giving me advice on things I can do to improve my body mechanics.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
