From the reviews
Christina is the BEST! She is so talented, kind, and thoughtful in her practice - she always goes the extra mile for her patients. I was a difficult case, and she figured out an amazing combination of needles for me that helped SO much. She also introduced me to cupping, which I now love!
Christina is amazing! I initially started seeing her to help assist with the IVF treatments I was doing. She helped me feel so at ease and relaxed ahead of stressful treatments. She's extremely thorough in asking what I'm struggling with and recommending acupuncture treatments that will help in my fertility journey.
Christina Wallace has been treating me for a few months for pain and have seen tremendous improvement. Christina is a skilled acupuncturist, and one of those skills is the best of all - she listens, and she listens with a purpose.
I saw Christina because I was still experiencing severe sciatica thanks to a herniated disc I acquired last Spring. Christina treated my sciatica for just a few weeks. Her approach was very warm and welcoming and I felt instantly relaxed every time I met with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
