From the reviews
Chong is amazing! I came in with elbow pain, and after just two sessions, the pain was gone. He’s very attentive and made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time trying acupuncture. I barely felt the needles, and the cupping felt incredible on my lower back. The office is super clean and relaxing.
I went yesterday for the first time, he did a combination of acupuncture, massage and cupping. It was amazing! I walked in yesterday with back pain that had been lasting over a week and this morning it’s gone. The office is clean and professional and he explained everything thoroughly.
Dr. Chong is fantastic! The acupuncture, massage, and fire cupping really made a difference in my neck and back pain. I usually get up still in pain from massages, but this is quite different. I felt immediate relief. I've decided to be a regular, looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Dr. Chong!...
Dr. Chong has been a huge help with my sciatic pain. I started seeing him a few weeks ago, and after my fourth session, I’m already feeling so much better. He combines medical massage, acupuncture, and cupping, and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. The office is also very clean and comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
