I highly recommend her treatment! She works wonders and is greatly knowledgeable on Chinese medicine. She helped me beat the odds when all the doctors with years of experience was telling me only option was a c-section due to placenta previa .
Dr. Li is the best acupuncturist I’ve seen. I Lived in California for 5 years and no one came even close. I stand on my feet all day at work and am working out all the time which can cause some back pain. Every time I get back pain I know it’s time to visit Dr. Li!
I have shoulder and neck pain from a 2004 injury and frozen shoulder in 2012. I've tried chiropractic, deep tissue massage, and cortisone shots with some improvement at times, but the pain always returns and in the last couple of years has increased. I came to Dr Li Liu bc she specializes in fertility acupuncture (per my Dr). Extremely reasonable cost for treatment. Super accommodating with scheduling. Not only has her acupuncture therapy helped me to conceive, but I feel so de stressed as well.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
