From the reviews

Me and my boyfriend had the best experience. They communicated well from beginning to end. The staff was very nice and very professional. We ended up getting the 80 minute couples massage in the Salt room along with cupping and hot stones. John and Phyllis were amazing.

I’ve been going to Chantelle now for many years, I actually have a standing appointment every 4 weeks with her. I’m a hairstylist so I stand all day with my arms in an upward position which causes many issues with my upper and lower back plus I have carpal tunnel.

Chantelle is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve found. I’ve tried over 20 therapists in town, and no one comes close to her level of skill and care. You can immediately tell she truly understands the human body, and she takes the time to focus on exactly where you need attention.

Chantelle’s massages are wonderful. Her method is great for my back issues, and her massages are incredibly relaxing. Her hands are very sensitive, and she can really tell when something’s not quite right in my body. Chantelle has created a spa experience as part of her practice.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
