From the reviews
Clean, professional environment with a wonderful practitioner. I was suffering from chronic pain and discomfort. Searching for answers, I turned to Chambersburg Acupuncture. Meagan listened to me when other doctors wouldn't. She personalized my treatments and helped me through a difficult time in my life.
Wonderful experiences, has relieved pain so much. Now able to sleep peacefully and enjoy life without pain interference. Worked for me better than cortazone shots over the past 5 yrs. Highly recommended
Easy to get an appointment within a few days. The acupuncturist is attentive and gracious, and extremely knowledgeable. The sessions are reasonably priced, and has helped cure a whole slew of medical issues for me. I would recommend this practice to everyone.
Meagen is professional, personable, attentive, and detailed. My sessions with her have reduced pain from hip bursitis, reduced essential tremors in my hands, and are helping me in numerous other ways. I can not recommend Meagen’s practice enough!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
