From the reviews
I had an extended tummy tuck, liposuction on the bra area, back, and flanks. So far, I have had 4 lymphatic massages and it has been such a wonderful experience here at Carolina Pintos Therapy. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly faces. Everyone is so nice to you. Dani is such a wonderful person.
I’ve been here twice so far and many more to go. I’ve gotten the lymphatic drainage massage (about 2 hours ago) so I can’t give my full review on that yet. My first session was the sculpting/contouring massage and I should’ve done that after the drainage massage.
I have been going to Carolina Pintos Therapy for my post op lymphatic massages. I recently had a breast lift and contouring lipo. I had heard of the benefits of lymphatic massages for years but finally have had a strong enough reason to give it a go.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with Alejandra. I went in for scar tissue treatment and lymphatic massage, and the results were beyond anything I expected.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
