From the reviews

While traveling overseas during the spring, I became extremely ill and was restricted to my bed for 6 out of the 7 days. When I returned to the U.S., I continued to exhibit symptoms, some of which were similar to those of vertigo.

★★★★★ — Cecile, May 2025

I found the staff to be professional as well as caring. They made sure I understood my exercises and would take time to listen to my concerns. The staff made my experience there both fun as well as informative, by addressing my needs to get back to feeling whole; after my extensive spine surgery.

★★★★★ — Judy, Apr 2025

Love the staff @ Carolina PT: Blake and Cindy are great. Blake helped me recover from sciatica in 2011, so when I needed PT as I was recovering from my broken ankle. I knew where I was going. Susan in the front office is pleasant and a great help

★★★★★ — Lisa, Jun 2026

Friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable service. Blake, Cindy and Susan are the best. I've been here on 3 separate occasions and my physical complaints have all been thoroughly addressed to a point where I can function normally.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
