From the reviews
Myofascial Release is helping my neck and back feel so much better every time Callie works on me. Callie knows intuitively where to work and I appreciate that she always asks me if there is somewhere that I feel needs attention.
I am truly grateful I found Callie. I was new to myofascial treatment and she was knowledgeable and patient as she informed, educated and answered all my questions. She was an excellent listener and genuinely wanted to understand what I was experiencing so she could meet my needs.
The atmosphere is perfectly crafted for comfort! Callie's expert technique for body therapy is perfect for your health and wellness. This is THE LEADING PRACTITIONER of Myofacial Release Therapy in southern Utah, hands down (pun intended).
Callie is truly gifted. She has an intuitive sense of what you need body and soul. Her calming demeanor will ease you into a restful and relaxing experience. You owe it to yourself to try Myofascial Therapy or massage at Canyonland!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
