From the reviews

I was experiencing a Bell’s palsy and went to the ER. After that visit, I decided to search for holistic treatment. I’m so grateful that I found Dr. Moon at Calm Point Wellness. She has been so kind and helpful. She has used neuro-acupuncture along with red light therapy, cupping and an herbal decoction to treat me.

★★★★★ — Mary, Feb 2026

I recently visited Calm Point Wellness for acupuncture. I'm absolutely thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere of the center was serene and inviting, instantly putting me at ease. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome right away.

★★★★★ — Tyler, Apr 2024

Dr. Moon is a highly skilled professional with both the science & wellness of accupunture. She also uses technology (Acugraph reporting) to illustrate your meridian health. Coupled with herbs Dr. Moon is dedicated to ensuring you are on the path to a healthy body.

★★★★★ — Catina, Nov 2024

I can't recommend Calm Point Wellness enough! Dr. Moon was incredibly attentive (she actually read my intake forms and was prepared). She used Acugraph, which I love because it gives real-time data along with nutritional recommendations.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
