Here's what we found: “techniques used to restore joint movement and alleviate pain. Mobilizations use slower, graded motions to improve range of motion, while manipulations are quicker thrusts used selectively for pain relief and stiffness. Cupping An ancient…” source →

From the reviews

David as a physical therapist with his knowledge, caring for his clients, and technique is second to none. He is simply a great person. He truly cares for his clients and listens to their needs so that he can target each problem individually.

★★★★★ — Mark, Sep 2025

David is my favorite physical therapist of all time! I have sent many friends to him which have also gained relief from his therapy. I will follow him wherever he goes. He is so patient and explains everything he’s doing. He has saved me from having to have surgery. Dry needling has become my best friend.

David and the Build team have done an incredible job treating multiple members of our family. You can tell that they care about their patients, you aren't just a number to them and they want to build lasting results rather than getting you in and out.

Great experience at Build PT. David was knowledgeable, took the time to figure out what was causing my issue, and explained everything in a way that made sense. He used dry needling, walked me through some stretches, and sent me home with specific exercises I can continue on my own.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
