What clients say about the cupping here
“I have known Monica for almost 10 years now and believe she is the best Acupuncturist in Weston.”
From the reviews
Another name for this company should be miracle worker. I went to try and help my torn rotator cup, a bad, scared need and lower back Issues. I fell early if after my first session but continue going until I no longer felt pain at all. Now I attend regularly to maintain my pain-free life.
Dr. DeMasi introduced me to acupuncture. It has been literally a life changing experience. Not only am a healthier, but I am happier by doing acupuncture. Dr. DeMasi is caring, understanding and really knows how to treat people. She has wonderful energy.
I have known Monica for almost 10 years now and believe she is the best Acupuncturist in Weston. If you want to treat your symptoms from the inside to have lasting results, this is the place to go. She is a true professional and she is going above and beyond for her Clients.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
