From the reviews

I highly recommend Branches of Wellness Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine. I have been a patient for over 10 years (formerly Elements of Health), first coming to the practice for relief of severe symptoms of menopause and I have continued for many years as a patient for preventative care and my overall wellbeing.

Jenny has been making me well for years and I can’t recommend her enough! She is brilliant, caring, and so knowledgeable. Her gentle touch and extensive wisdom of acupuncture and supplements heal me completely.

I cannot praise Jenny enough for the incredible services she provides. Jenny is not only the sweetest, most caring individual, but her depth of knowledge and genuine desire to help heal others shines through in every session.

★★★★★ — Sofia, Apr 2024

My husband and I have been seeing Jenny for over a year now. A friend recommended acupuncture to help us with the typical middle aged aches and pains. My husband works in construction. Jenny is so easy to talk to and makes us feel comfortable. The office is very peaceful and calming.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
