Excellent! I would highly recommend Bouchard Wellness to anyone experiencing pain. I have been a client for over a year and will continue to return when I experience pain. The services I have received are cupping, acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Cupping is fantastic!
This is Camila's mom, Marie Otero. I have been going to Bouchard Wellness for 11 years now. Acupuncture helped me conceive my baby girl Camila. It also helped me with back and shoulder pain, allergies, Flu like symptoms, eye sight improvement, mood swings, etc. etc.
Ms Bouchard is certainly the best acupuncturist in the El Paso area. She has treated my chronic back with remarkable success. I highly recommend her. She is very professional and informative. I could not be happier with my results.
I began going to Elisabeth Bouchard 6 months ago to treat a complex combination of physical and emotional problems stemming from a severe accident. My issues included low back pain from a fractured vertebra, sacro-iliac arthritis, lumbar disk disease, problems sleeping, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
