From the reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Liu for two months and have noticed significant improvement! I am a 21-year-old college student who has struggled with severe chronic pain and muscle tension for two years. I tried everything: physical therapy, massage therapy, cortisone shots, and chiropractic therapy.
I have been going to see Dr. Liu since fall of 2021 on a weekly basis and it is the highlight of my week! I started going for my chronic eczema and overall stress. Dr. Liu is so knowledgable and caring and I always feel like I am in good hands. My insurance also covers 20 sessions a year, which is super helpful!
I have hernia disc and after my first session I could walk without pain for some hours for the first time in months. I had an wonderful experience with Dr Liu and I will continue my treatment with her because she is very professional, caring and nice.
I have been going to see Dr. Liu for acupuncture for about a month and it's already helped me so much. I recently got diagnosed with a chronic disorder that has been negatively impacting my day to day life and I got recommended to see Dr. Liu. Her treatment has helped improve my disorder immensely.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
