From the reviews

Came here for acupuncture while I was dealing with some mega health issues. Erik Spears was phenomenal. He was a very good listener, he asked great questions to understand what was going on with me, and he did a great job explaining the different points and how they were connected.

I have been seeing Steve for just over 4 years. Steve always works out the pain in my back and makes me feel like I can stand straight up. I literally feel taller when I leave. Then, I go home and get the best night of sleep of my life. I can’t imagine how I would feel without having Steve work out all that stress.

Steve is incredible. This isn’t a nice relaxing massage that maybe feels good while you’re on the table but once you get off all the problems are the same. This is truly therapeutic bodywork which, while it can be uncomfortable in the moment, actually repairs damage and restores function to address a huge range of…

On the advice of family members, I went to see Steve Cunningham about my chronic back and neck pain. I wish I had been able to consult him 20 years ago! I felt an immediate difference after my first session.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
