Ive had hundreds & hundreds of massages in my life. JENNIFER LANZETTI is the most knowledgeable therapist I have ever had! There are plenty of massage techs around that can relax you, but this is the person that you need to see if you need more specialized treatment, pain, sciatica, numbness, tingling or stiff muscles.
I have been a client of Body Therapy since they first opened! I usually see the owner Sara!, but have also seen Mira and Hannah. They are all wonderful! Sara is so knowledgeable about different types of massages for each need that I have ever had. She goes above and beyond to make sure to address my therapeutic needs.
Wonderful massage with Mira. Stepped into a beautiful and relaxing environment at Body Therapy Massage Essentials. The owner, Sara, greeted me warmly and made sure I was comfortable and welcomed. Mira took the time to assess my needs and provide a needed healing therapy session for the senses.
I have been getting massages from Sara for over 10 years!!! She is amazing!!! She always asks what’s bothering me and takes care of me!!! I am so glad I got in with her before she got so busy!! She isn’t taking new patients but there is a waiting list and I can tell you… she is worth the wait!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
