Neisha is awesome! She is located right in the heart of downtown Winter Park and provides a good range of pain relief therapy from cupping to acupuncture to shock wave therapy. She is located in a small, women-operated salon that focuses on both beauty and wellness.
I suffer from chronic neck and shoulder pain and I have tried all sorts of medications and pain therapies with little relief. I now see Neisha once a month to keep my symptoms at bay. Every treatment is personalized, she uses oriental medical massage along with acupuncture and sometimes shockwave or cupping.
I had a wonderful experience at Body-Renu. The place is beautiful and inviting. Neisha talked to me in depth before my treatment so she understood all my medical/pain issues, then designed a treatment combining many modes, such as acupuncture and massage, tailored to my needs.
If you are considering or looking for someone new for acupuncture, I highly recommend Neisha. This was my first time trying acupuncture and I have had such a wonderful experience and Great results. I was having trouble sleeping and my sleep has significantly improved.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
