Where do I start!! I am a 10 year combat veteran who served 2 tours in Afghanistan and during that time like many, had put a lot of damage on my body. To add more to the issues I then tore all of the muscles in my shoulder resulting in years of physical therapy and surgeries.
I work 60 hours retail work every week and tend to get a very stiff back and legs as a result. For years, I've been looking for a massage therapist who can truly get out the rocks/knots, but hadn't found anyone local until I found Lindsey at Body Kneads.
Jamie gave me a deep tissue massage today! I really needed the time to just relax, and she gave me that. She was so sweet, caring, and professional! She cares about the experience, and will listen to your needs, and it shows through her excellent work!

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
