From the reviews
Such a great physical therapy practice -- very nice and knowledgeable people, and I walked out feeling like my shoulder issue had been well understood with clear next steps for recovery. The best part for me was that Sam spent 30+ minutes diagnosing the problem rather than rushing to judgment....
I can’t say enough good things about Body In Motion Physical Therapy. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is a business that genuinely cares about its patients: Not just getting them in and out. Not making them feel like they’re paying for nothing. Not WASTING YOUR TIME!
I came to Body in Motion after years of guessing how to best support my hypermobile joints. I wanted to get back into strength training after a period of non-exercise after having my two children, with goals to both safely support my joints and to build strength for longevity.
Body in Motion has been such a game changer for my recovery after my recent surgery. Dr. Nicole is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. She takes the time to answer any questions and demonstrate proper form for the exercises.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
