I've been coming to Body Empathy Spa for 5 years now. There are plenty of massage places where I live, but I make an extra effort to come here. This amazing little gem offers the most calming, soothing, and healing experience anyone could ever ask for.
If you like a deep massage, this is it. I go bi-weekly for a 90 minute treatment including having my back walked on. It can be a bit uncomfortable but no pain, no gain.
Had a great 90 minute deep tissue massage. Made an appointment via email and got a response and appointment the very same day! Highly recommend Body Empathy Spa. Plus, they accept credit cards and can add tip on there. Already booked my next visit. Can’t wait!

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
