From the reviews
I initially sought treatment at Bodhi Acupuncture due to a complex cluster of symptoms: thyroid‑related dysregulation, persistent brain fog, chronic fatigue, systemic inflammation driven by prolonged stress, insomnia, and significant TMJ dysfunction.
In February 2026, I pinched a nerve in my neck that caused severe pain throughout my entire left arm. I spent about two weeks seeing a chiropractor with little to no relief. Desperate to find something—anything—that would help, I did some research and found Bodhi TCM.
Fabulous facility. I felt like I was at a spa instead of acupuncture! WONDERFUL. After just 3 treatments, hot flashes diminished by 50%! Plus, the knee injury I was recovering from has rapidly improved after months of no success with other methods. Dr. Andrea & the Bodhi T.C.M. team = TRULY CARING MEDICAL team.
Since having rotator cuff surgery I had been experiencing intense aches and limited mobility in my arm and shoulder. After my first treatment with Dr. Andrea I noticed improvement. Now, after just a few weeks, the aches are almost completely gone and my arm is finally functioning normally again!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
