From the reviews
Kimberley is a knowledgeable and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist. She has successfully treated me multiple times, and I confidently recommend her to help you. Wichita is lucky to have her, and her new clinic!
Having acupuncture for my Rheumatoid Arthritis in the past has always helped me a great deal. Kim at Bluestem Acupuncture has help relieve chronic pain and discomfort. I highly recommend her.
Unless I have been hit by a train or mauled by a lion, Kimberly Vester-Couch at Bluestem is the first resource I contact if I require any health advice.
After a year of suffering from chronic lower back pain, I decided to take an opportunity to try acupuncture treatment. The experiences I've had with Kimberley has been amazing. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She suggested products that I could purchase online to use at home too.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
