Words can not express how grateful I am for dr Soto , she has changed my life in many ways.. I started seeing her for treatments I believe at the end 2018 and I have seen her since.
When I found Blue Root Acupuncture I was desperate. I'd spent a year and thousands of dollars on different strategies, healthcare professionals and professional grade supplements to alleviate my symptoms and get to the root cause of my issues.
Dr. Soto is phenomenal. She not only listens, she cares! She is an excellent teacher, cheerleader, and wonderful soul. Most of all, she is a brilliant healer in that she knows the body so well, and she teaches you how to heal yourself. Everything she recommends… just do it!
My experience with Blue Root Acupuncture has been nothing less than great. When I go in for an appointment, I am treated like a human with dignity and respect, not like a faceless customer or account. Dr. Soto has always made me feel at home and has earned my trust.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
