From the reviews
From the moment I walk through the door at Blooming Wellness, I feel genuinely heard and valued. Grace has created such a welcoming and calming space, and she always takes the time to truly listen before recommending a plan that works for both of us. What I appreciate most is how personalized every visit feels.
Grace has been such an instrumental help to myself and family in various capacities. We don’t have any major injuries but we go to her for weekly maintenance with all the sports and work related ailments that are just everyday soreness from being on the computer and sitting at a desk and playing sports.
Dr Grace has been great with our 12 year old son, who plays soccer and was having problems with his knee (likely osgood schlatter knee). She treated him holistically (adjustments, massage, cupping), and I was amazed at how fast it started getting better when doctors said we just needed to "wait it out".
Dr. Grace is an exceptional chiropractor! She is kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. I am so pleased to have found a chiropractor who includes muscle work and cupping, and is trained in dry needling as well. She goes above and beyond, and her passion for patient care is so evident. Highly recommend Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
