I have chronic neck and shoulder pain so I wanted to see if I could get relief. I made an apppointment with Bleu because I liked what she says on her website. It's been a few hours and already I feel like the tightness in the muscles has subsided. I will definitely return for more treatment.
I had an amazing experience with Mrs Anderson! I came in with back pain, and instead of just treating the symptom, she took the time to assess the root cause. She quickly identified that the issue was coming from my glutes and knees and focused on those areas for the entire session: my back pain was completely gone!
Bleu is a gifted massage therapist and healer and I have found true benefit from the Body and Soul sessions I have had with her. The combination of energy healing with acupressure and massage is a potent combination. Above and beyond what she does though, is who she is.
I have had relaxation massages before but the therapeutic massage with Bleu was my first experience with this type of treatment for my chronic back pain. Her knowledge of how muscles work together and my description of my symptoms had her releasing tightness in muscles I didn’t know I had and it brought instant relief.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
