Today I finally went for a massage appointment with Mrs Chenoa. I can not say enough great things about my experience with her! I have some complex health issues and she listened carefully in order to do the best by me and help me to relax.
I have been here 4 times now. I absolutely love this place. It’s small, it’s quiet, Chenoa has the strongest hands! I always get a hot stone massage and suggest adding the Himalayan stones. The texture is different and oddly soothing. I have her add lavender for a bit smell good aroma therapy.
I have a great start to my full sleeve journey. Matthew is a great artist and talented. From placement consultation to execution, everything went smoothly. Brandy set everything up, making sure the table and equipment was sanitary and safe before starting. Going back in a couple weeks for more time in the chair.
I had my first Reiki session and it was absolutely wonderful so relaxing. I love the fact that both Matthew and Chenoa are Reiki practitioners and that they actually spend time with you talking to you about what you want to get out of the session and explaining exactly what the session is.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
