First time to ever get this service. I was so nervous, Jenny was so understanding and assured me that she would do her best not to hurt me. I have tattoos, but needles get those anxiety juices going. It was wonderful, only felt 2 little sticks but when I looked there were a whole bunch in.
Upon walking into the Best Life Wellness space, I instantly felt warmly welcomed. Jenny is an amazing acupuncturist and clearly incredibly knowledgeable about Traditional Chinese Medicine. She asks questions about what is challenging me and really listens to my responses.
I have been going to Jenny for over a year to help me with several health issues (mostly involving chronic pain). I am so in such a better place today, I no longer suffer from chronic pain (was diagnosed with fibromyalgia). I believe I am doing so well, partly due to Jenny’s treatment (acupuncture and cupping).

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
