From the reviews

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting acupuncturist Dr. Narges at her office yesterday… and WOW, just have to share my experience. Hands down, it was far better than any acupuncture treatment I’ve ever had. Not only is she incredibly skilled as an acupuncturist but she has such a calming, grounded presence.

Can’t recommend enough is an understatement! I was in the area on a short work trip from Boston and already suffered from chronic back, neck and shoulder pain due to scar tissue from multiple sports related surgeries.

★★★★★ — Anthony, Dec 2025

I discovered Dr. Narges through a TikTok video, and it felt like she was speaking directly to everything I had been carrying for years. In desperation, I turned to acupuncture, and I could not be happier with that decision. Dr.

I feel so blessed that I found Dr Sarafan! She is not only knowledgeable and good at what she does but she’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. And the best part – I get great results. I started doing cosmetic acupuncture for my face and my skin has dramatically improved.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
