From the reviews
Ben is extremely knowledgeable across many forms of massage therapy and has done a great job helping me with my fitness recovery and fixing issues I've acquired over the years. His table side manner is very accommodating, adjusting to his clients state at the time. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a session!
I can’t say enough good things about Ben Romann and the work he does. I originally started seeing him for a hamstring injury that had caused me significant pain, and the difference he’s made has been incredible.
My favorite day of the week is when I am scheduled to get a massage from Ben. He is simply amazing and always knows just what areas need special attention. Over the years I’ve learned that a massage is not just a luxury service, but has become a physical necessity for life longevity and well being.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
