What clients say about the cupping here
“Went in for neck pain and walked out feeling so much better, refreshed, cleansed and love the tea, the oils and bought a bundle of sage and mugwort!”
“Caring & thorough--only thing that wasn't perfect was getting acupuncture in the same room as others makes private discussion of treatment harder.”
“The space itself is inspiring and relaxing, and a great place to duck into during the long Wisconsin winter that's around the corner.”
“Her services are affordable and can often be covered with an HSA.”
From the reviews
ANNE IS THE BEST! She’s helped me address a wide range of issues with Chinese medicine - she relieved my TMJ with acupuncture, resolved a rare skin condition with herbs, and eliminated my seasonal allergies with an herbal tea.
I've been there twice now, first time was my intro to acupuncture. It was during one of their free trials. It was a great experience. I just went for a one hour massage and it was amazing. Friendly staff, great prices, perfect ambience, I will be back. Check it out!
Had been dealing with vertigo for years and tried a local acupuncture center and it only got worse. Then I got a referral from a friend to visit Ann and have finally found relief. Love this place and refer all my friends,
Thoughtful and considerate whole body health professionals. I highly recommend making your appointment here today.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
