From the reviews

I came here because I have a severe back pain for many days. Acupuncturist Gu helped me a ton by giving acupuncture, cupping, and massage. My back pain is reduced a lot after a couple treatments. Would recommend anyone, especially for those with back pain problems, to try.

★★★★★ — Shengxian, Feb 2025

I came here because my wife recommended me to give Dr. Gu and Dr. Guo a try and I’m glad I did. They explained the processes and benefits of acupuncture, cupping, and chiropractic therapy perfectly. I opted for their 10 session bundle and have been going weekly!

★★★★★ — Kenny, Dec 2024

Dr. Gu is an incredibly professional and passionate acupuncturist. Her needle skills are outstanding, and she truly knows how to target areas that need attention. I love that her cupping therapy is unique—she uses bamboo cups, which adds a special touch compared to other places.

★★★★★ — Jingru, Dec 2025

I came here because I saw on YouTube that acupuncture is very effective for pre-IVF procedure. Dr. Gu was very knowledgeable in all areas I had questions in and helped me start a healthier life style. I had neck, back, and hip pain, but Dr. Gu’s acupuncture and Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
