My husband and I are here this week for our 40th anniversary. We had wanted to check out the lymphatic drainage massage & possible trigger point therapy. We found Beach Therapeutic Massage and OMG it had to be the most amazing experience ever for both of us.
Jill works magic on muscles and pain. She gives very relaxing facial treatments as well. I can't say enough good about her and this business. They have all sorts of different treatments: swedish, deep tissue, cupping, hot stone, they'll even walk on your back if you want someone to.
I came here 2 years ago & it was the best massage ever!! I went yesterday due to having a lot of tension in my shoulders & back. Christine was EXCELLENT! They are always professional & concerned about what areas need the most attention.
I recently had to make a last minute appointment and had Cody as my therapist. He did such a wonderful job working on my issues. As a hairstylist I use muscles that normal people do not and he got me right away! It was probably the best massage I've had I ages. I will continue to use beach therapeutic.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
