From the reviews

Teresa is so much more than a skilled, knowledgeable, experienced incredibly effective acupuncturist- she is a true healer. Her innate kindness, compassion, ability to listen empathically and sincere desire to help have made all the difference for me.

★★★★★ — Pauline, Aug 2025

I am a forty-three year-old woman who has suffered with anxiety for as long as I can remember. Even while sleeping, anxiety found a way to wake me up, give me a variety of issues to worry about, and send Adrenalin through my body to ensure I would be awake and present for those broken-record concerns.

★★★★★ — Kathryn, Nov 2019

Teresa is an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable acupuncturist, creating a calming and comfortable healing environment. She reduced my high level of pain in 2016 by 50% the first visit and 80% after the second. Within a few weeks I was pain free and have been since.

★★★★★ — Diana, Jul 2023

Teresa is the best! I am so thankful for the care and treatment she has provided to me over the past year. Teresa is so much more than just a very caring healer, she is also an extremely compassionate person. She is an incredible acupuncturist who attentively addresses your specific needs at each session.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
