Why Balanced Wellbeing Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “stomized approach to acupuncture is used for treatments based on the condition being treated. A combination of traditional acupuncture with balanced distal needling, local trigger point needling, electroacupuncture, and cupping may be used…” source →

From the reviews
I have been using this service for nearly 5 years and have been thrilled with my results. I have availed myself to traditional needling, cupping and electro-stimulating. I came to Angie in August 2014 with a shoulder injury that was 2 years old. My shoulder was painful and had about 60% range of motion.
Angie is hands down one of the best. If you’re doing acupuncture for the first time or a frequent flyer she’s the one to see. I’ve seen a lot of acupuncturist and she is without a doubt the best one I’ve seen.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
