I've been to this establishment 3 times in the last two months. If your looking for a deep tissue massage, Nan Scarlett is the person to see. She knows exactly how to work out knots and tight muscles. Especially in the lower and upper back, including the neck. She's very attentive to your needs.
I have now been a handful of times and have used Edward each time and he has been amazing. I have been getting the deep tissue massage and each time and he is great. He will check and make sure the pressure is right and that you are comfortable.
I went today for the first time. I had a gift card and I usually go someplace else so I was a little skeptical to try someone new. What a pleasant surprise! My massage therapist Nan was wonderful. She gave me an excellent deep tissue massage. I am actually sitting here pain free. I will definitely go back!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
