Recently my husband and I had a couples massage and Arika was my massage therapist. I could not recommend her enough! I have a history of whiplash, neck instability and headaches meaning I'm very sensitive to any kind of massage or work around my head and neck.
I have known Arika for years and have been coming to see her regularly for the last two years. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in addressing a specific issue when it arises for me (frozen shoulder, headaches, sciatica, knee pain, foot pain, to name a few) but her massages are relaxing and rejuvenating as well.
Arika is absolutely amazing, she in insightful and intuitive and really wants to make sure you have the best experience with the best results, shes extremely down to earth and meets you where you're at with comfortability. Would recommend her in a heart beat to anyone and everyone looking for a massage!!

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
