Exceptional experience! My 75-year-old mother had severe back pain, but after just three cupping sessions at the Chinese Herb and Chiropractor Clinic, her pain completely disappeared. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable.
I’ve been visiting Dr. David over the past year due to post-surgery complications (pain and muscle tightness). While the tightness persists, the pain is completely gone. From his ability to help manage my condition, I see him less frequently than in the beginning now.
Dr. David Hsiao has been an essential part of my wellness journey since spring 2022, and I truly can’t recommend him enough. I initially came to him for a variety of health concerns, and over time I’ve experienced a noticeable improvement in my overall health and vitality.
I just had my 2nd session with Dr.Eric and never had acupuncture before this. I was having a lot of lower back pain and hip pain and after the 1st session, I felt a lot better. Now I don't have any pain remaining. I had tried going to a massage therapist but that made the pain worse, so I decided to try acupuncture.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
