Why Atma Health & Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “they are relatively painless. If it didn’t have clinical benefits, it wouldn’t have lasted thousands of years throughout Asia and be offered in the top hospitals in the world. acupuncture Book Acupuncture View fullsize Cupping therapy…” source →

From the reviews
If I could add more stars I would!! I’ve been lucky enough to be treated by both Sara and Jason in the past and highly recommend them both. Most recently I saw Jason for cupping, acupuncture and healing energy—I left feeling extremely relaxed and so much lighter.
Seriously enjoyed my experience! ATMA feels safe, warm, and inviting! Also the cupping and acupuncture was amazing. I have had cupping done many times, but this was by far the best experience I ever had. Thank you to the whole team!
I recently saw Sara for a 90 minute acupuncture session for hot flashes, night sweats and rheumatoid arthritis. Her kindness, knowledge and expertise put me at ease. Her new clinic is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. I left feeling more calm and in less pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
