From the reviews

Crystal was great and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxing massage. I've had two appointments with her (90 and 120 minutes) and she uses a variety of techniques, movements and levels of pressure (always staying within my preferred range).

I had the most amazing massage experience yesterday at Atma! Crystal was so intentional and supportive in her massage! She made sure to address all of the areas I told her about. She checked in with me regarding pressure and made me feel so comfortable, seen, and heard!

This place has a great vibe. Easy parking which is a plus. Interior is nicely decorated to give that relaxing atmosphere. It’s also very clean and organized. I had a 60 minute lymphatic drainage massage with Roxanna. She was prompt and ready to go, which I can appreciate.

I went for an hour massage with Tina on Tuesday, Dec. 2. I went in with a back-ache bad enough that my doctor had prescribed lidocaine patches. I left the massage with NO back pain. Tina is an excellent massage therapist and a great person to deal with as well. I recommend her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
