From the reviews
This is the best place I've ever been and I've had numerous chiropractors over the years! Dr. Ryan is extremely personable, knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of humor.
Had my first visit with Dr. Ryan today after a golf injury. I was very impressed with his extremely knowledgeable approach. He diagnosed the problem, then proceeded with massage, cupping and dry needling. He set me up with a PT regiment. Before I left he demonstrated all exercises and stretches.
I can’t recommend Atlas Performance Center enough, especially if you’re into fitness or motocross like I am. Between training and riding, my body has taken a pretty good beating over the years. I was dealing with a lot of tightness, stiffness, and some lingering injuries that just wouldn’t fully go away.
I found myself in Dr Ryan’s care after a shoulder injury. As an active 55 yo, I hadn’t initially thought of chiropractic measures to remedy a shoulder but Dr Ryan came highly recommended by some other athletes. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved by his knowledge, understanding and quality of care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
