From the reviews
I came to Athletico in August 2022 after being referred here by my Trainer at Millikin University after breaking my humerus pitching in a game over the summer. I highly recommend coming here to get your PT done. The staff was friendly, helpful, and understanding of my needs.
I’ve never been to physical therapy before for any reason so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was referred for pelvic floor therapy. I’ve only worked with Lynne so far, but I have enjoyed every moment! She is so patient, compassionate, and motivating! I highly recommend!

I came to Athletico in January 2022 after any automobile accident. I was in pain from whiplash, broken rib and concussion. I had an amazing experience from the initial call to set up my appointment. The staff was friendly, helpful and understanding of my needs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
