From the reviews
Best new acupuncturist within 200 miles. I travel alot all over the midwest from east of Chicago out thru the oilfields of North Dakota, and this is my person of choice when i'm in the Fargo Moorhead area.
53 and trying acupuncture for the first time. I have many chronic health issues which medications really don’t help and I especially wanted help with pain, anxiety and type 2 diabetes. I’ve had 4 appointments so far and we aren’t focusing on the diabetes yet.
I have been treated by Dr Bergman/Olsen several times for injuries that nothing else, at much expense, seemed to cure. While it did not happen all at once, there was immediate improvement and healing over several visits. She got results. These injuries were many years old and seemingly intractable.
We are fortunate to have someone with such a caring spirit in the area of holistic health (acupuncture) in the Moorhead area. As someone experienced in holistic health modalities I would highly recommend her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
